Music is one of the most significant elements of worship at FPCQ. Visit on a Sunday and you’ll find a thoughtfully crafted music experience that serves to prepare people for God’s Word and give voice to our response. Our choir rehearsals are every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and we’re always on the lookout for passionate and teachable singers and musicians.
Get Involved
At First Presbyterian Church, we have many ways for all ages to get involved, including opportunities to serve and activities.
Women’s Bible Study
Every first and third Monday at 7:30 p.m., FPCQ offers an online Bible study for women. Every session stands on its own and is packed with truth from God’s Word and practical applications for your everyday life. Also, if you need prayer we will pray for you! So put on some comfy clothes and jump online – you will be glad you did!
Friday Prayer Group
Come as you are to a time of guided prayer on Zoom every Friday at 8:00 a.m. We’ll pray as a church community for individual, local, and global concerns and celebrations. Share your prayer needs ahead of time by emailing Pastor Drew, or let us know how we can be praying for you on the video call.
JOY Group
FPCQ’s “Just Older Youth” Group is a faith and fellowship group for seniors. We gather monthly to support each other through prayer, conversation, and authentic, Christ-centered relationships with one another.
Seasonal Activities
In addition to these regular opportunities for involvement in the life of FPCQ, we also offer many seasonally based opportunities for learning and service: book studies, small groups, food drives, and more. Serve on a committee
Once you get to know us a bit more, you are also welcome to be a leader in our community by serving on a committee like Worship, Missions, or Membership and Community Engagement. These committees ensure that we are faithfully carrying out our mission and ministry.
